The Technological Challenge
La Courgerie, a farm with more than 300 varieties of squash, is a reference in Quebec for squash and pumpkin culture. The company wants to keep in touch with its customers despite the new rules on how to welcome visitors for the 2020 season. The technology will have to be integrated into the company's processes and make sense in the future.
My Smart Journey develops a platform allowing companies and organizations to easily and intuitively add various content (text, video, audio, etc.) associated with access points in the form of QR codes or NFC chips. Users scanning the code or touching the chip with their smartphone easily access the content without having to download an application.
The Partnership and Test Objectives
The technology will be tested on jars of processed products, on some displays as well as on La Courgerie's cookbooks. My Smart Journey will host the platform and La Courgerie will provide the content associated with the access points. Customers will then be able to scan QR codes in different locations and have access to online content. The objective is to increase interaction with customers despite physical distancing.
